Somerset Showcase

I now have the schedule for the Somerset Tournament. I will be registering our team at 8:00am Saturday morning. If you have not turned in your waiver form, I need it before registration.

For everyone else…

I would like everyone to be there no later than 8:30am, ready to warm-up. Please bring the following: pa-west blue jersey, black shorts, royal blue socks, guards, and cleats. You might also want to bring something healthy to eat between games along with lots of water. It’s going to be hot, so eating smart and drinking lots of water is very important.

The field of 10 teams is split up into two groups. The top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs.

Group A – Bedford, Richland, Forest Hills, Meyersdale, Rockwood
Group B – Windber, North Star, Somerset, Bishop Carroll, Conemaugh Twp.

Our schedule is as follows:

9:45am - Forest Hills (Field A)
12:00pm – Rockwood (Field B)
1:15pm – Meyersdale (Field B)
2:45pm – Richland (Field A)

4:00pm – Playoffs (round 1)
5:00pm – Championship
5:30pm – Awards

I would like to see you at all 3 pickup sessions.  As you can see, we’re going to run into some tough competition this weekend and must be prepared to play at a very high level.
